As we start to make the transition from Spring into Summer, this is one of my favorite liver tonics. I like to make an infusion, but you could also buy or make tinctures of the these herbs.
This is my go-to soup when I need an easy and delicious way to get lots of veggies. I don’t know about you, but with busy lifestyles, it can sometimes be hard to get the amount of veggies I need in a day.
The herb of the month for February is citrus fruit. Citrus ripens in midwinter, the perfect time to brighten the cold and dark winter months. In mediterranean climates, citrus is harvested from January to April. I like to think of citrus as our first ray of sunshine peeking through the winter clouds, calling in the soon to be blossoming spring.
Cold winter days call for hot and sour Tom Yum soup made with rich bone broth.
This Coconut “Cream” Pie is dairy free, grain free and AIP friendly. Depending on if you like your filling more firm or soft, you can add or subtract the quantity of gelatin.
We can only eat so much bone broth and collagen powder; gelatin gummies are an excellent way to get the nourishing benefits of gelatin and a boost of vitamin C. These make great treats for kids and laboring mamas as well.
